Because this B&B is situated in a residential neighbourhood, it is set away from the hustle and bustle of Peterborough’s city centre and is quiet and safe. This is especially nice for women who are travelling on their own.

Charlotte House serves a delicious full English breakfast which is cooked to order. The portions are plentiful so you won’t leave the table wanting for more.

The staff is warm, welcoming and happy to help with most any request. They are also quite knowledgeable about the area and can point you in the direction of lots of great restaurants, pubs and shops.

Charlotte House doesn’t have a restaurant or bar and because it’s a bit off the beaten path, you have to walk or drive for a couple of miles before you find a place to eat. This could prove inconvenient if you are on a tight schedule or have a lot of hung

Despite the quiet neighbourhood, there is a fair amount of street noise outside the front of the hotel which can keep you awake at night. Best to book a room at the back if you are looking for a quiet stay.

Although there is free Wi-Fi throughout this hotel, the Internet reception is quite spotty in the guest rooms. This could be problematic if you are travelling on business or trying to send an email in a hurry.
