Negative Reviews
negative:
Lots of extra charges.
Guests don't mind paying a fair price for the facilities and comfort that Charleston Marriott Town Center, but they're not so happy about the extra charges imposed - for parking, Wi-Fi, and breakfast. Many guests feel like they're overpriced, and if they didn't know about them in advance, it's not a great surprise.
negative:
It can be noisy.
With its conference and event facilities, the hotel does attract large groups, such as business conventions, weddings, or sports teams attending competitions in the area. This means that at times, evenings can be noisy, if there's music or general revelry carrying on until late.
negative:
Some instances of miscommunication.
Some guests have complained about problems with booking requests, bills, or not getting the room they booked. It seems that there are sometimes issues between third-party booking sites and the hotel, so if you're worried, it's best to contact the hotel directly in advance to check your reservation.
