Hotel Chaiyapoon Inn (Pattaya, Thailand)

The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood whilst also being within walking distance to a choice of cafes, restaurants and bars. There are also shopping sites and convenience stores within easy walking distance of the hotel. The local beach can also be reached within 15-minutes on foot. Some guests recommended renting a bike to see the city which can be rented from a nearby shop.

Guests reported that the rooms are simply furnished with comfortable beds and all the basic conveniences including a desk and chair. The rooms are also spacious and kept clean by reliable, daily housekeeping. Wi-Fi is also fast and reliable. Many guests felt that the hotel room and amenities provided good value for money and commented that they would return to the hotel again.

The staff pride themselves on customer service and making your stay as pleasant as possible. Guests have described staff as friendly, kind, attentive and helpful. Some staff speak English and tourist information is provided.

The hotel has steep stairs and no lift service. At times guests struggled to carry their luggage up the stairs, and while some staff members were available to provide assistance, this was not always guaranteed.

Some guests reported problems with the air conditioning system. At times the air conditioning would not work leaving the rooms hot and stuffy, while other guests experienced the air conditioning as weak and ineffective.

While most guests were satisfied with the simply furnished rooms, some guests felt that the facilities were old with out dated furniture which would benefit from refurbishment.
