Confidence in security.
Guests need not fear for their safety while staying at Casaverde Havanna Kuba, security measures are well in place, and the property well secured. This is not to say that the area is dangerous, or unsafe, but general rules need to be applied at hotels, to keep tourists safe, and that is exactly what has been done here.
positive:

Negative Reviews
negative:
Showers are a hit and miss.
While adequate, the showers seem to be a bit on the poor side. Guests should know that unless one is lucky enough, or has enough money, the majority of hotels have problematic showers. Guests will however, find plenty of hot water, and clean facilities.
negative:
A bit of a mess outside.
The immediate outside area seems to be falling apart, with many locals hanging out in the street, and wandering the roads and sidewalks. Guests may not find this at all comfortable, but should not be deterred by what the real Cuba looks like.
negative:
Poor ventilation.
The hotel rooms seem to require better ventilation. At Casaverde Havanna Kub, guests will find the heat in summer to be near unbearable, especially if they are not used to such heat, or if they don't have access to better facilities such as air conditioning and proper ventilation.
