Hotel Campanile Bordeaux Nord - Le Lac (Bordeaux, France)

Guests comment that they love the location overlooking Le Lac. The exhibition and conference centres are adjacent and the Palais des Congres Metro Station is less than a five-minute walk away. The hotel is close to the Bordeaux Rocade, and the tram line takes you directly into Bordeaux centre. Guests comment that they return to the Campanile Le Lac as the rooms are relaxing, the location ideal for exploring the area, and the price is within budget.

Nothing gloomy here. Guests remark that the guest rooms are nicely decorated in brilliant colours, light and airy. The beds are quite comfortable and the rooms are nice and clean. Guests comment that the hotel is family friendly and cots and cribs are available and the hotel offers a self-service laundry facility.

Guests travelling through the area noted that the hotel is fine for an overnight stay as it fits the budget. The basic rooms provided everything one needs for an overnight stay including coffee and tea making facilities in the room.

Several guests complained of a prevailing offensive odor that seemed to permeate the hotel, stale, musty and offensive. Guests noted that they would not stay at the hotel again because of the odd smell.

Guests have commented that the service staff also double as bartender in the little lounge and that they seemed to be distracted in trying to attend both areas. Other guests remark that the staff is abrupt, curt and downright rude and that they do not seem to care about answering questions of processing guest requests.
