positive:
Plenty of restaurants within the hotel
If you love your food, then you'll enjoy your time at this hotel. There are several restaurants inside the building offering a variety of cuisines, ranging from Italian and Spanish delicacies to American specialties. The food is also quite good. And expect to be spoilt for choice.
positive:
Good neighbourhood
The hotel is located in the upscale Polanco area. Security is quite OK, and there are several interesting places to visit nearby - such as Mexico City's grand boulevard and the museums of Chapultepec Park. There are also a few bars, cafes, and bookstores not too far away.
positive:
Beautiful architecture
Hardly will you get to stay in a place where the hotel itself is an attraction. The classic design of this hotel is pretty beautiful, and architectural enthusiasts will love the building's look and its open spaces.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Needs some serious renovations
There are too many things inside the hotel that seem to be falling apart. The equipment in the gym looks dated, and there are many issues with the amenities inside the rooms like the lighting and the bathroom plumbing. Some of the carpets need to be changed, too.
negative:
No free Internet
It's quite ridiculous for a hotel that describes itself as international to charge for Wi-Fi. As if that's not bad enough, the charges are on the higher side. This is a major let-down for the hotel.
negative:
Food is rather pricey
The food in the restaurants maybe great, but the prices are unreasonably high, even for breakfast. The hotel is isolated, too, so you might not have a number of options when it comes to dining.
