Heavenly Views.
The Stagecoach Inn is a character hotel, in what is indisputably a stupendous location, with loch and mountain views. A guest was pleased that it is located conveniently near the Fyne Ales Brewery, and comments that the real ales at the hotel are always well kept.
positive:
Gourmet and Satisfaction.
The standard of cuisine met with enormous praise, and many guests suggested that the chef deserves several stars. Local produce is used to good effect. The Stagecoach Inn is perceived as being good value for money, and guests staying in one of the Lochside Rooms found a good sized room, with an excellent bath. Sitting on the veranda gazing over Loch Fyne was beautiful, and the hotel's quiet and peaceful location was entirely to their satisfaction.
positive:
Friendly Even Clubbable.
There were generally good reports about the staff, and the standard of service, and outstanding among the comments was one from visitors from India, who with the help of one of the owners were able to get a game of golf at his club, for seven of them: very much a personal touch. Also very impressive was the cheerful young breakfast waitress.

Could Do Better.
Just about the only negative comment about the cuisine was from a vegetarian guest who felt that the offering was not up to standard, and that they need to improve in this area. The guest was refunded the cost of the meal.
negative:
Not Placed as Asked.
Something of a booking mix up rather marred the evening for one commentator: despite having booked a table in the conservatory and having received confirmation, they were not able to be seated there and received unsatisfactory and conflicting excuses.
negative:
Some Updating Required.
It would seem that the hotel needs a little refurbishment, particularly in the older building, plumbing is noisy and decoration is tired.
