The hotel is in the historical area, less than a mile from the Visitor's Center, making it a very convenient option if you plan to explore the museums and other attractions in Colonial Williamsburg. There are several restaurants and shops close to the hotel, and it is also just five miles from Busch Gardens.

Guests reported that the hotel is a good budget option, and is priced significantly lower than any of the other hotels in the neighborhood. The price was the primary draw for most visitors.

The Budget Inn Williamsburg offers complimentary HBO service, as well as access to the hotel's Wi-Fi network. Guests seemed to agree that the Wi-Fi connection was fairly reliable.
