This is a terrific spot that puts you right off of the water and near several popular attractions in the area. It's a great base for enjoying the coastal air, along with the scenic beauty and local culture that draws vacationers to this town.

Relaxing at the Rocktide Inn is made even more pleasant and rewarding with the onsite amenities. It's lovely having a bite to eat or a drink out on the deck, and taking in the views. It's also nice to unwind in the library and just enjoy a little luxury perk away from home.

The peaceful, happy atmosphere of the hotel is complemented by the staff's personalities who are just as jolly. They're friendly but not pushy, and always around for whatever you may need. It's an additional perk staying here knowing that you can easily talk to and deal with the employees.

Decor is tired and worn looking, and the air sometimes doesn't smell fresh. Not everyone gets a view from their rooms, which also disappoints. The pricing is meant to be fair, yet for what the rooms really look like, still seem too high.

Pack ear plugs, since the walls are very thin here. You'll hear noise from the other rooms above, below, and next to you, and from out in the hall.

If you stay for a couple of days, the breakfast doesn't vary. It's not always fresh or filling, and there are times some offerings run out before everyone has had a chance to take it.
