Super 8 Minneapolis is in the process of remodeling its guest rooms and the rooms that have been completed are well-appointed with a more sophisticated and ‘upmarket’ look and feel. The space is modern and warm and exceptionally clean.

The hotel has installed quality beds in recently remodeled rooms. The beds are of a very high quality and provide exceptional back support, allowing for a really pleasant experience and a great night’s rest.

Super 8 staff are all very pleasant and friendly with a great attitude towards providing top class service to all guests. Housekeeping are very approachable and do a great job in ensuring rooms are clean and consumables replenished. Front desk staff are inviting and helpful, providing directions and advice where needed.

The majority of the hotel is still undergoing extensive remodeling which has proven to be disruptive in many instances. Guests have complained about loud noises and, until remodeling is complete, may not be ideal for those traveling in business for example.

Services including buffet breakfast and onsite parking are quite limited currently due to extensive remodeling and exterior reconstruction. There are a number of nearby places to eat however which are good value. Parking is restricted but should be expanded quite soon.

The onsite 24-hour gym is quite small and offers only limited equipment that is not ideal for those who prefer a more challenging workout. The gym room also lacks adequate ventilation and can feel somewhat stifling or claustrophobic at times.
