In the heart of Wine Country.
If you're en route to some of California's finest wineries, or even if you're on a longer road trip, this Best Western Plus is in a very convenient location close to the highway in Santa Rosa. The hotel itself is set in attractive grounds, and there are more wineries than you can shake a stick at just a short drive away.

positive:
Free breakfast with pancakes.
The coffee's hot, the pancake maker is doing its think, and the eggs are cooking - all in all, mornings at this hotel get off to a good start, and guests rate the choice and the freshness of the free breakfast. It's just the thing to set you up for a day of exploring the surrounding countryside.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some booking issues.
Some guests who have booked online through third parties have encountered issues upon arrival, such as special requests not being honored, or booking details being lost. While situations mostly seem to get resolved, it might be worth double-checking your reservation direct with the hotel in advance.
negative:
Noisy walkways and stairs.
There's no elevator at this hotel, so the only way to access the upper-level rooms is via staircases and external walkways. Apart from the hassle of dragging your luggage up, guests say that this also creates quite a lot of noise, which can travel to the lower floor rooms.
negative:
It's on the expensive side.
Due to the location, prices are at a premium here, and some guests feel like they're paying over the odds for what is provided. Little things, like the Wi-Fi being slightly unreliable, seem to niggle that little bit more when you're paying above the standard price for a motel.
