Not all rooms have been renovated
This hotel appears to have been undergoing renovation for quite some time (more than two years!). As a result, only some of the rooms have benefited from upgrades. These rooms are impressive, but there's no guarantee that you will be allocated one of these.
negative:
Windows don't open
Several guests comment that they were unable to open the window in their room. As a result, they were forced to rely on air-conditioning to bring the temperature down. Unfortunately, while the units work well, they are also rather noisy and turn on and off periodically.
negative:
Some noise concerns
A number of the rooms at this property are subject to traffic noise. Also, the on-going renovations taking place at the hotel results in some guests complaining of being able to hear hammering and sawing as early as 7.30 am.
