Hotel Best Western Plus Hood River Inn (Hood River, USA)

The views across the Columbia river, especially from rooms with balconies and from within the Riverside restaurant were not to be missed according to previous guests.

The complimentary breakfast was mentioned time and time again as being delicious, providing much needed fuel for a day of hiking around the area. Dinner at Riverside was also mentioned by previous guests as a highlight, guest tips are to try the Italian inspired menu!

A number of guest reviewers made special mention of the excellent standard of amenities at the hotel, particularly noting that the pool and sauna are well maintained.

A number of guests reported that they had a few reservation and check-in dramas, where systems had failed and reservations were lost, mixed-up or confused with guests with similar names. All system glitches were eventually worked through and this short drama did not impact on the rest of their stay.

Guests resoundingly enjoyed the views across the river, however some guests also pointed out that privacy screens between balconies would be a great idea to give a little bit more privacy between rooms and guests.

Some guests who stayed at this hotel commented that a little sound-proofing between the rooms would go a long way. Guests also commented that there was additional truck noise from the highway, which can not be helped, but impacted on their stay.
