Best Western Ahtanum Inn is situated in a convenient location, with many dining options next door and a large shopping mall as well. Guests especially found it nice to be close to the freeway, making for easy travelling.

Best Western Ahtanum Inn is an older hotel and some guests say it evidently shows its age. The dated décor needs updating and rooms need to be upgraded to more modern standards. The lack of electrical outlets, for example, has been one of the largest complaints. A few other guests also were bothered by a stale smell of cigarette smoke in the hallways. Fortunately, the hotel performs mild renovations every year.

Guests were surprised how quiet the hotel was given its proximity to the highway, but often complained that their neighbors were noisy. If you're a light sleeper, make sure to pack ear plugs.
