Hotel Best Western Padre Island (Corpus Christi, USA)

The hotel's setting is the highlight for the vast majority of guests, who love the fact they can stay so close to the beach and still have access to plenty of outdoor activities in a natural setting, as well as the incredible views afforded by the location.

Guests frequently compliment the staff at the hotel, saying they are friendly, helpful, and do an excellent job, sometimes going out of their way to help guests with any issues or requests they might have.

Guests frequently praised how clean the rooms were, and the hotel in general, with particular praise for the attitude of the cleaning staff.

Although not completely under the hotel's control, some guests complained they encountered a lot of bugs in the hotel due to its natural setting. Whilst some of these were unavoidable, a few guests felt the hotel staff could do more to deter bugs like mosquitos from entering the hotel.

Most guests were happy with the hotel but a few said they felt that the pool was too small or badly located, and was a disappointment in comparison with what they expected. But with the beach just a short walk away, this didn't prevent guests from enjoying a refreshing swim.

Guests were pleased with the hotel overall, but some suggested it would benefit from being updated and refurbished to some extent to bring the rooms up to a better standard.
