Hotel Best Western Medical Center North Inn & Suites Near Six Flags (San Antonio, USA)

No surprises here. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the price is OK, staff are pleasant and helpful and breakfast is ... fine, with plenty of choices on offer.

If there is an adverse comment about the pool it is that it is a bit on the small side. The compensatory factor is that it's tucked away round the back of the building, thus affording more privacy and relaxation.

There are so many restaurants and shops nearby. What better way to relax, though, than at the Flying Saucer, with great choices of pub food and over 200 beers to choose from. On the way back, call into Spec's to stock up on wine and liquor. Better get some food from the deli too!

Face them with a problem (and they can occur anywhere) and either there are no resources to deal with it, or they don't have authority to make decisions ... or, they don't have the enthusiasm to seek a solution. Ask to see the manager and he/she is nowhere to be found. The front desk needs tightening up.

They all congregate here and it passes away the time to see how close to the number of your room ... you can get the number of bites accumulated during the night.

The pool needs regular maintenance and cleaning. Currently it has a greasy film over it, so you'd be mad to jump into that. Inside, problems with air conditioning go unresolved, resulting in an otherwise OK ish sort of stay being decidedly unpleasant. Staff seem strangely disconnected from these and other problems.
