Negative Reviews
negative:
Small bathrooms.
The en-suite bathrooms at Best Western Historic Frederick are quite small and most find them somewhat disproportionate to the size of the rooms. Bath and shower are combined in one and there are no options for separate bath or showeronly en-suites.
negative:
Road noise can be a problem.
The hotel is located very close to two major highways, Interstate 270 and Interstate 70. This results in some rooms subject to considerable road noise at night, not recommended for light sleepers or those traveling on business.
negative:
Ongoing renovations .
The hotel is currently undergoing renovations and while most
of the work is complete, ongoing renovations may be somewhat disruptive to
normal hotel occupancy.
