From the motel, central Franklin is less than three miles away. You can be downtown in less than ten minute and shopping at The Foundry, enjoying outdoor excursions at museums and parks, and partaking in loads of fine dining and nightlife.

Recently renovated and added to the Best Western chain, the motel is crisp, new, and well-kempt. And, although close to downtown, the hotel is located just far enough away to avoid the clatter of the city.

Before you head out to explore Franklin and the surrounding area, you'll need some fuel. You can power up on the Best Western Franklin Inn's complimentary breakfast. A hearty plate full of eggs, toast, cereal, fruit, and a cup of coffee, and you'll be ready to meet the day.

While parking is free at the Best Western Franklin Inn, some guests have mentioned how small the parking lot is. During peak season, the lot may fill up fairly fast—especially when there are a lot of truckers in town. The motel may have overspill parking, but you may wish to check the lot's status before arriving.

For the most part, the motel offers reasonable rates for comfortable lodgings convenient to Franklin. However, some guests felt that the basic rooms were a little on the cramped side. If you need to sprawl out, you may wish to shell out for a king or queen room.

Between a malfunctioning television, stained and rock hard mattresses, a noisy early morning parking lot, and a faulty air conditioning unit, some guests had a few concerns about their stay. Overall, though, the flaws didn't outweigh the cost or comfort of the motel.
