Basic but clean, with a free breakfast
Although the outside looks like it could use some updating, most rooms are clean and spacious and comfortable. Some are motel-style rooms and some are hotel-style and a few even have a Jacuzzi. A complimentary hot and cold breakfast is included.
positive:
Moderately priced with friendly staff
Staff at the Best Western of Asheville Biltmore East are friendly and accommodating, while the motel is one of the best budget-priced hotels in the area.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Be aware of the busy road
The parking lot to the motel is directly off a four-lane thoroughfare, right after a bend in the road, making it a bit difficult to find on the first attempt.

Things that go bark in the night
Traffic can be heard all night in rooms closest to the main road. Some guests said the walls were thin and it was easy to hear the ice machine being used in the hallway, people talking in the rooms next door, or to be awoken if any dogs staying in nearby rooms barked.
negative:
Older rooms not as comfortable
A number of guests who stayed in the older rooms complained that their mattress was too hard, the pillows were not comfortable and that the décor was old and dingy. Some also alleged their room carpets were not vacuumed throughout their stay.
