The hotel provides great customer service thanks to the warm and friendly staff. Staff members seems to genuinely love their job and it shows in their attitude towards guests. Staff members readily share their extensive knowledge of local tourist hotspots with guests and even remember names of guests when they make subsequent visits to the hotel.

The hotel is close to two fine restaurants that guests can visit when not inclined to cook. The hotel's vicinity feels safe to walk around in even during nights.

While the hotel has received a major makeover that has done a lot to change its overall look, a few areas, such as the tiny bathrooms, still require some upgrades. The air conditioning works well but is noisy while the indoor pool is smallish.
