Hotel Baymont by Wyndham Plainfield/ Indianapolis Arpt Area (Plainfield, USA)

The hotel is less than 12-minutes' drive from Indianapolis International Airport, and downtown Indianapolis can be reached within 20-minutes' drive. A selection of restaurants as well as a shopping center and a Walmart are also close by.

Despite it's close proximity to the airport, many guests found the premises to be quiet. Guests also commented that the rooms were spacious, well appointed and clean. All the necessary amenities are provided including complimentary tea and coffee.

Guests generally commented favorably on the complimentary buffet breakfast provided, which included a variety of hot and cold dishes to choose from.

Guests reported that the hotel had a general shabby appearance, and a range of problems with the amenities were reported by various guests. Problems encountered included cracks in the bathrooms tiles, broken fixtures, worn carpets in need of updating and furniture which was old and shabby. Occasionally the air conditioning was reported to malfunction and on a few occasions the indoor pool was cold.

Despite other favorable reviews, the housekeeping service seems to be hit and miss with a number of guests reporting a low standard of cleanliness. Some guests found the bathroom to be dirty including mold growing in the shower area, unclean floors, dirty carpets and dusty furnishings in the rooms.

While Baymont Inn and Suites Indianapolis Airport - Plainfield is advertised as a non-smoking hotel, some guests reported that the non-smoking rooms they had booked smelled of stale cigarette smoke.
