For those who enjoy shopping, the Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets and Tanger Outlets are a 20-minute drive away. Other popular attractions such as Bishops Orchard and Winery and the University of New Haven are less than 20-minutes' drive away.

Strong smell of cigarette smoke
Some areas of the hotel smell strongly of cigarette smoke. Some guests reported that even though they had booked a non-smoking room, the room smelled unpleasantly of state cigarettes. Other guests complained that some of the corridors also smelled of cigarette smoke.

Despite other favorable reviews, a number of guests reported that they experienced a low standard of cleanliness in their rooms. Complaints included finding hair in the bed sheets following check-in, dirty carpets, scuff marks on the walls and reports that the bathroom area was not properly cleaned. Some guests also reported mold growing in the bathroom.
