Our Wild Olive house is a farmhouse situated in a spectacular landscape of mountains and spreading farmlands, just over an hour away from Cape Town. There is an important nature reserve of 4000 hectares as well as wheat, sheep and cattle farming operations on another 2000 hectares of arable land. Our Wild Olive House has a open-plan sitting room, dining room and kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a separate cottage for two. Children are welcome. The house has its own swimming pool and leafy verandah and is fully equipped with bed linen, towels etc provided. This is a self-catering unit, but meals can be ordered from your kitchen prior to arrival at an additional rate per person. Food is taken very seriously and the cooking at Bartholomeus Klip has a deservedly high reputation. the kitchen is staffed by professional chefs who make imaginative use of local produce. Activities include game drives through the natural fynbos veld, bike rides, walks, bird watching, canoeing and fishing in the lake, as well visits to nearby attractions such as Riebeek Kasteel, Tulbagh, Wellington etc.
