Hotel Azure (South Lake Tahoe, USA)

The hotel overlooks Lake Tahoe and guests were pleased to find that many of the rooms have scenic views of the surrounding countryside. Keen walkers appreciated being close to numerous nature trails whilst those who wanted to sample the local restaurants and bars found the hotel's location very convenient as there are plenty of local amenities within walking distance.

The rooms have been described as spacious with plenty of furniture and storage space. Guests were pleased to find all the necessary mod-cons in their rooms such as microwaves and fridges which made it convenient for them to prepare and store their own food. Many rooms feature balconies and guests said that they appreciated the opportunity of being able to sit outside whist admiring the views.

Guests said they had plenty of things to do on the premises during their free time including swimming in the outdoor pool or relaxing in the hot-tub. Those who were keen on keeping fit and active visited the on-site gym which was described as spacious with a good range of up-to-date equipment.

Some of the guests mentioned that their rooms looked quite tired and dated with old-fashioned pieces of furniture and tatty looking upholstery. The bathrooms were also said to be in need of modernization as guests objected to the basic fixtures and dated suites.

The hotel overlooks a busy road and guests said that they were reluctant to open their windows and balcony door in the evenings due to the traffic noise.

Guests who wanted to connect to the internet from their rooms were disappointed to find that the Wi-Fi signal was rather slow and intermittent which meant that many had to log on several times.
