Guests had no complaints about the location, with what they described as the closest proximity to the ski slopes that you can get. It also didn't hurt that the surroundings were beautiful, and everything from ski rentals, ski lessons, sports shops and restaurants were next door at Canyon Lodge.

Rooms received many favorable reviews from guests who felt like they were right at home. Nice furnishings included a comfortable bed, and everything was clean and up-to-date. If you want a no-fuss holiday with pleasant accommodation, look no further.

The majority of guests felt that they had made a good decision by staying at Austria Hof Lodge, and this was confirmed when they stopped into the restaurant. Popular with the locals, guests enjoyed snacking on German classics like wiener schnitzel, and sampling inventive dishes that kept them coming back for more.

If you would rather have an elevator do the work for you, this might not be the place for you. Guests had to contend with quite a few stairs to reach the lobby and rooms in many cases. This was inconvenient with luggage, and especially with ski equipment.

Guests warned that parking can be tight due to the volume of customers visiting the restaurant. There is another parking lot located next door, but some would have preferred reserved parking for hotel guests.

Guests in rooms located near the lively bar sometimes had to deal with more noise than they would have liked. A few guests also said that the hotel was starting to show its age, with things like creaking floors heard at times.
