Hotel at the Rainforest Experience Farm (Fajardo, Puerto Rico)

Located by the mountains of El Yunque Rainforest, this hotel offers a quiet, secluded and relaxing holiday experience. Guests can lie and relax in the deck chairs which overlook the sea, swim in the pool or go walking and hiking in the neighboring forest.

The guest rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable and uniquely designed in an open-air style so that guests fall asleep with the fresh scent and sounds of the rainforest. Rooms also offer beautiful views of the sea shore and forest. All beds have a protective mosquito net cover.

At the Rainforest Experience Farm provides a friendly, caring, genuine and welcoming customer service experience. The host is attentive as well helpful and can assist with directions and recommendations for local restaurants. Due to the small scale of the establishment they are able to offer a unique and personalizsed service. A simple though substantial complimentary breakfast is also served daily.

Some guests found the drive to the property difficult due to the rough terrain, and guests with both private and rental vehicles were worried about the potential damage done to their car.

Note that the owner has several dogs on the property. While the dogs are friendly, some guests did not feel comfortable having the dogs roam freely on the property. At times some guests had their sleep disturbed by barking dogs in the night.

Some guests felt that the standard of cleanliness was not high and could be improved. Some guests also noted that there was dog hair on the furniture in the common areas.
