Guests rave about the delicious, made-from-scratch brown bread and when paired with her homemade jams, you won't find anything more delightful. Breakfast orders are taken the night before, and you have your choice of items such as a full Irish fry-up, poached or scrambled eggs, and French toast.

When you step inside this cosy bed and breakfast, you will instantly feel at home. From the welcoming, evening tea tray that is brought to your room to the friendly greeting from the four-legged members of their family, you can't help but see and feel the kindness and generosity that this host family has to offer. They are ready to go that extra mile to make sure your stay is pleasant. They are also very knowledgeable about the area, and can help provide recommendations for sights to see and places to dine.

Just a short, two-minute walk from this hotel you will find a lovely place to dine, the Holy Cross Pub. They offer up cold pints and delicious evening meals in a nice atmosphere. Guests recommend trying the seafood chowder.

The only drawback to this hotel is that it is not in the centre of Waterford. Its countryside location only allows for one pub within walking distance, so a vehicle is required to get anywhere else you want to go in the surrounding area.
