French Charm
With pots of geraniums on the balconies, polished wooden floors, simple decor and crisp white bed linens, the Arlequin epitomised the idea of French charm for many guests. Most found the rooms clean, comfortable and spacious and described the historic building as quaint, traditional and full of character. A number of guests noted that the Arlequin was a welcome change from anonymous corporate owned hotels. The Continental buffet breakfast also won praise and many guests staying for the first time said they would definitely be back.

In The Heart Of Troyes
Located in the heart of the mediaeval town of Troyes, the Arlequin was in a perfect spot for guests to do some on-foot exploring. They loved the timbered architecture, the Gothic churches and the shops, bars and restaurants. Some guests described Troyes, 150 km southeast of Paris, as overlooked by the guidebooks, but definitely worth a visit.

Parlez-vous Anglais?
Non-French speaking guests had high praise for the friendly and accommodating staff of this hotel and noted that while some staff members spoke English, those who didn't were very patient and eager to help those with less than perfect French.
