Hotel Ariston (Milan, Italy)

The complimentary breakfast uses fresh ingredients and guests loved the beautiful presentation. A great way to start the day. Better yet, have it outside and enjoy the beautiful Italian sunshine.

The location is situated behind a pizza restaurant that is very good and all the people are very friendly. When you think ‘Italy' this is the type of atmosphere that is brought to mind…friendly people, wonderful aromas, and beautiful buildings.

The staff are friendly, courteous, and always have a smile on their faces. Many of them speak English, and are very proud to tell you about Milan, and Italy, in general. They will even give you a map, help call a taxi for you, or suggest tours you might want to enjoy.

The walls are so thin that most humanly possible noises can be heard easily. If your neighbour sneezes, you will hear it. If privacy is desired, or you are a modest person, the thin walls may make you uncomfortable.

The tram station is practically located outside some of the rooms, which is obviously going to make those rooms rather noisy. However, they aren't all located near that area of the hotel, so you can definitely request a different room.

Guests drinking the water from the tap at this hotel have reported digestive upset. It is not recommended that you drink the water, there. Stick to the bottled variety just to be safe.
