The suites provide the best deal here. They are very spacious and the kitchens are fully equipped. The rooms have multiple TVs and the Wi-Fi signal is strong. Some even have dinette areas.

The rates here can be astonishingly low, even when upgrading to a suite. The rates are even better if using a third party booking site instead of stopping in. Plus, discounts at local restaurants and the free breakfast adds to the deal.

This hotel is centrally located for those on historic Route 66 or for nearby interstate travel. It's also just a short drive to the downtown area of Gallup, which offers a lot in the way of shops, entertainment, and eating.

A railroad line and crossing is very close and noise from the rushing, clacking, and blowing whistles can easily be heard in all the rooms. This isn't an occasional bypass but goes on day and night about every 20 minutes.

The parking lot is very small and oddly shaped which might be problematic for larger vehicles, like trucks, buses, and those traveling with trailers. Also, this isn't the nicest area of town and safety for vehicles might be a concern.

The hotel is a basic stay. The walls are thin and many sounds can be heard. The towels are small and rough. There are not many breakfast choices and the bathrooms are quite small.
