Positive Reviews
positive:
You won't be disturbed.
After a long drive, all you want is to get to your room, hang up the 'do not disturb' sign, switch on the TV, and relax. That's the kind of atmosphere this hotel offers - after a speedy check-in, you'll be ensconsed in your room, and generally, it's a quiet place. Guests say you can't even hear the road nearby.
positive:
Conveniently positioned.
Whether you're attending an event at the nearby Cox Convention Center, or you want a cheap base close to the sights and attractions of Oklahoma City, Americas Best Value Inn-Bricktown - Oklahoma is in a convenient location for both business and leisure activities, many within a 10-minute drive.
positive:
Good-sized rooms.
You won't be too cramped in the rooms at this hotel, even if you're visiting as a family. Desks and comfy chairs complement the beds, and create separate spaces to use - particularly helpful if you're working. It's animal-friendly too, and there's plenty of space for your pet.
Negative Reviews
negative:
The local area isn't up to much.
Sharing a parking lot with several fast-food joints and another motel, the surroundings are hardly desirable, and if you want to eat anything other than deep-fried carbs, you'll have to head out to a different part of town. The surroundings make some guests feel a bit uncomfortable.
negative:
The cleaning is questionable.
While rooms may be given a cursory clean and comfortably prepared, guests complain that a lot of grime and maintenance issues remain. Bugs, either dead or alive, seem to be a particular problem, and guests have reported cigarette burns in the bed sheets of non-smoking rooms.
negative:
The service is variable.
While some guests praise the friendliness of the staff, it seems that it's not always service with a smile - there have been complaints about problems with check-in, disagreements over the bill, or staff not being available when needed. It's probably down to the luck of the draw here.
