Negative Reviews
negative:
The neighborhood is not the best.
While the area is by no means especially dangerous, it's also worth remembering that you are in a non-residential part of a major city, so you need to be careful about walking around the streets late at night. The hotel does have gated entrances and good security, however.
negative:
Housekeeping standards vary.
Although many reviewers are impressed by the standard of cleanliness, other report that their rooms were inadequately cleaned and that the corridors had dirty carpets. The management does get praise for its efforts to address any complaints, though.
negative:
It's the same breakfast every day.
Some guests said that the free breakfast consists of make-your-own waffles, bananas and coffee or tea, and that there are no other choices. Fortunately, there are other places in the neighborhood to go for breakfast if you want a change of menu.
