Hotel American Budget Inn and Suites-Modesto (Modesto, USA)

Guests say the employees at the hotel are professional and willing to assist you in anyway they can. Not only are they hard working but visitors note that they happen to be friendly too.

The hotel is relatively quiet during the day and into the night. Travelers state that there is not a lot of road noise despite being near the freeway and a busy street.

A number of eateries can be found within walking distance of the property including Starbucks, Donut Deli and Jack in the Box. Several fast food restaurants can also be found near the Crossroad Shopping Center which is a little over 15-minutes away on foot.

Some travelers were not thrilled about the quality of the bedding in the rooms of the hotel claiming they are dirty and not all that pleasant to use. A few visitors report that the sheets and blankets in some accommodations are stained and need to be replaced.

Insects including bed bugs were found in some of the rooms according to a couple of guests who note that this is not an ideal issue to have to deal with. This was not a problem in every room at the hotel, however.

There is a musty odor in a few rooms and a number of guests say this smell was easy to detect and made the rooms unenjoyable to be in. A few visitors add that some other accommodations did not have a musty scent but did noticeably smell of cigarette smoke.
