Hotel Amanda Hills Kandy (Kandy, Sri Lanka)

The hotel is located on a hill and beautiful natural wonders were within walking distance such as a lake. The train station is also nearby with a taxi and guests found it to be a peaceful area.

The restaurant is located on the rooftop which was nice for al fresco dining. Guests also thought the food was delicious and of good quality. The variety in breakfast is also good and the taste was also considered nice, such as pancakes, eggs and plenty of fruit.

The hotel's staff members were found to be friendly by many guests who stayed here. They found them to be welcoming, especially friendly during the guided tours and a friendly restaurant service. The guests felt at ease and thought the staff did go out of the way for guests.

When guests decide to stay in some places, they usually come back because of the particular ambiance that was felt. If the hotel's character was special or there was a particular charm, then it would make guests want to stay again. Some felt this hotel did not have anything special.

The rooms are thought to be too small for some guests who even mentioned it was impossible to walk around. Some of the rooms were not good with reducing the noise from next door which made it hard to relax.

Some guests found that their accommodations lacked the basic amenities found in a hotel stay. These include, no drinking water, no tea or coffee facilities, and no toiletries. For the money charged, some felt there could have been more options. There's also no elevator.
