You'll find endless entertainemnt within walking distance of the hotel, whether you're interested in cafes, restaurants, shops or general sightseeing. Reviews show that most guests think Alton has a great location in Prague's Nove Mesto district, and loved its proximity to Wenceslas Square. In fact, many tourist sites can be reached on foot. Of course, public transportation is not an issue in the area, and the rail station is only three minutes away. Furthermore, there is also a night bus to the airport that departs from nearby the hotel.

Noise
If you're a light sleeper, you may want to ask for a quiet room during your reservation, one facing away from the roads. Some guests didn't have any problem at all, but others complained about outside street noise. Of course, it's also a good idea to bring along some earplugs as well.
