Positive Reviews
positive:
Spotless rooms.
The guest rooms are kept in fantastic condition by the cleaning staff, and will be ready for your arrival regardless of when you check in. The bathrooms and linens are immaculate by most standards, as well as the common areas that you'll utilise during your stay.
positive:
Employees are detail-oriented.
Small touches throughout the premises point to a sense of dedication and care by the employees, including handmade towel decorations and slippers provided for each guest. You'll feel like you're an honoured guest here, and can always rely on the staff if you need a special request or issue to be addressed.
positive:
Varied on-site attractions.
The exercise and beauty facilities located on the premises are fantastic for enjoying a free afternoon, and are close enough to the city's major attractions that you can access their services and then explore before midday. There are also specialised activities for children, if you have some in your group.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Large language barriers.
Almost none of the staff speak English or another language, so you'll need to either have some knowledge of Spanish or be prepared to work through gaps in communication through other means. Bringing printed reservations and a translation guide can help tremendously.
negative:
Surroundings require caution.
This area of Mexico City is not known for remarkable safety, so you should have the same degree of vigilance when travelling in this zone as in any other part of the country. Many guests reported questionable activities occurring outside the hotel, so be sure to exercise situational awareness.
negative:
Disappointing restaurant fare.
The on-site restaurant and breakfast services are a nice gesture, but their food is ultimately generic and doesn't incorporate much of Mexico's cuisine. You'd be better served dining at one of the surrounding restaurants or bars, even if you pay more.
