Hostel Auténtica Pérgola (Santa Clara, Cuba)

Hostel Autentica Pergola is located on Calle Luis Estévez # 61 between Independencia and Martí. Its location is privileged within the Historic Center, a few meters from the Boulevard de Santa Clara and Leoncio Vidal Park, declared a National Monument since 1999. The house has wide interior corridors bordering an inner garden decorated with a fountain and a pergola of eight columns from the time of construction. In its rooms, the comfort of the colonial style of its furniture and the elegance of a modern building are mixed in the eclectic way of the first decades of the 20th century. The hostel has a reception office decorated in colonial style and five rooms. All rooms have air conditioning, minibar service, hot and cold water 24 hours, fans, safe box, hair dryer, laundry service and massage service. All the rooms have privacy and view to the inner garden; enabled with rocky chairs and tables for recreation and enjoyment, with exotic plants and animals. In addition, the house offers gastronomic services in its beautiful Restaurant La Aldaba, located on the second floor. It also offers parking, laundry, driver and guided visits to the historical monuments and places of interest of the city of Santa Clara. The elegance of this hostel, the dedicated and respectful work of restoration, with which it has recovered the quality, the integrity of its architecture and the delicate work of restoring, through a meticulous process, the interior setting of each one of its spaces, galleries and patio, earned him the first place in the VII edition of the provincial prize for conservation and restoration of monuments, as well as the second mention at national level in this same category.
