Guests love the new look..

The rooms are also described as "relaxing", with guests often commenting on the lovely river views. Many also report a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed.

positive:
Compliments to the chef
Guests often comment on the high quality of the food and drinks in both the Anchorage Restaurant and River's Edge Lounge, both of which also feature friendly, attentive wait staff. The patio is a particularly relaxing spot, offering panoramic views of the river, though some guests prefer to eat inside while watching the game on a big tv.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A chilly swim..
A few guests were disappointed to find tha the pool is shallow and unheated, and that there is no hot tub. The pool area has not yet been renovated, however, so improvements may come as the older building completes its transformation to a "new" Holiday Inn.
negative:
Not a very walkable neighborhood..
Though drivers find the location convenient, guests note that there is not much to see or do within walking distance, and wish the hotel shuttle had more departure times or else that it would go as far as the airport.
negative:
Nobody's perfect..
Though most guests are pleased with the customer service, a few felt their concerns were not addressed effectively or were unpleasantly surprised by the hold for incidentals.
