Holiday Inn La Mirada, an IHG Hotel (La Mirada, USA)

Close to Disneyland (about ten to fifteen minutes' drive away), L.A. Convention Center, Honda Center and Knott's Berry Farm, with a handy free shuttle to Disney starting early and picking up until well after dark. Easy on/off the Interstate 5. Ample free parking and frequent complimentary refreshments in the lobby.  Lovely on-site gift shop with very reasonable prices.  Affordable lodging compared to other hotels of similar quality, this spot offers an on-site restaurant, a cocktail lounge, gym and pool (double-check the availability of pool and restaurant at booking) There's alternate dining within a four-minute stroll, like In-and-Out Burger (open late), Clearman's North Woods Inn, and Elephant Bar. A well-supplied business center and excellent spacious conference facilities. Superb vacation or business spot.

Large units with cozy beds, plenty of towels, decent bathrooms, freshly-supplied linens daily and Bath and Body Works toiletries provided. Desk space is sufficient for working travelers. Modern televisions and optimal air conditioning. Superb Wi-Fi. If you need a mini-fridge, call down and request one - if available, they'll likely bring it up to you!

Some of the nicest hotel staff you'll meet work here, and the service they provide is an example to the rest. The front desk team is superior, housekeeping is well above average and the bell staff are extraordinary.  Kudos!

Some reported noise from neighbors, hallways, elevators and traffic outside.  Bring your earplugs!

Some had later check-in times than they had anticipated; ask about this at booking.

Bath tubs may back up on you at times and some found dusty ceilings with cobwebs. Others noted upper floor windows opened wider than they were accustomed; take care if you're traveling with small children. The pool and restaurant were closed for some.
