Excellent location all round
Guests really enjoyed the location of the hotel, for several reasons. One was that, being so close to the interstate, it was easy to find initially, very useful after a long and tiring trip. The proximity to the NCSU campus was also a major plus for many guests, as was the good availability of restaurants in the area.

Quite a number of guests mentioned that the hotel’s parking lot was especially large, and that they never had trouble finding a spot when returning from their travels. Some also said that it had excellent lighting, so they felt quite safe.

Guests thought that the breakfast was actually pretty decent for this category of hotel. They found enough variety that they could construct a breakfast that really set them up for the day.

A bit of noise from the freeway
Guests found that the convenience of being so close to the interstate did not come without a price. For light sleepers allocated rooms facing the highway, it was quite a high price. They mentioned that it was quite easy to hear the sound of cars and trucks passing by at night.

Many guests mentioned making good use of these two amenities. They found that they could heat up not just snacks, but even light meals and that the in-room fridges were the perfect spot to keep their cold drinks nice and cold.

Noisy rooms near the elevators
A number of guests with rooms against the elevator shaft reported that the room was not properly insulated from it, at least in terms of sound. They mentioned that the sound of the elevator could easily be heard in their room causing sleepless nights for some.
