    A great, fun location.

    It's an easy walk from the hotel to the local shopping mall and restaurants. Plus, it's only a mile or so from the Dr. Pepper Arena, Southfork Ranch, Baseball Stadium and a number of centers for athletic activities.

    Rooms are very clean, well maintained and decorated. They are crammed with good quality accessories and beds are comfortable with good quality bed linen..

    Staff members generally, are friendly and efficient. None more so than those at check in where the process is speedy yet relaxed. Next to reception is a much appreciated, 24-hour, complimentary coffee facility. Another nice addition is a complimentary service that 'shuttles' you around the local area.

    Not nice rooms.

    Floors are stained, carpets need vacuuming, the air conditioning doesn't function properly and the room has an apparently well established presence of dust.

    There are a number of issues here.

    The elevator is monopolized by cleaning staff and their equipment; no room for guests! It's not an uncommon complaint, but WiFi is reliably unreliable. The pool is too small for the number of guests and the fountain is too large to be of any real use or ornament.

    Opinions run hot and cold.

    The air conditioning is noisy and aggressive so, at all times of the day and night, rooms are either too hot or too cold. Water pressure is very weak so, sometimes, there's no hot water.
