Positive Reviews
positive:
Well located for public transport
Guests mention that it is just a quick monorail trip from the hotel to the Rinkai Line, which can take them to Haneda Airport, or directly into central Tokyo. So although the hotel was not in the centre, guests still felt like they could easily get to where they wanted to be.
positive:
Right across from convenient shopping centre
Several guests mention the Aeon Shopping Centre across the road. They found it pretty convenient, since it seemed to contain everything they typically wanted to purchase, including souvenirs.
positive:
Excellent value for Tokyo hotel
Although it is not a central hotel, it is convenient for Haneda Airport, and central Tokyo is also accessible. Guests felt that they received good value, considering the room-rate they paid. Certainly better value than they would expect in a more central location.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Limited storage space in the rooms
Several guests point out that there were very limited storage facilities for their clothes in the rooms - perhaps, literally, one or two hangers. There weren't that many complaints about the room size per se, but the lack of place to put their clothes did irk some guests.
negative:
Area a bit too quiet for some
While for some the quietness of the immediate neighbourhood is a positive, several guests find it perhaps a bit too quiet, especially at night. It is certainly not a major nightlife area, so guests looking for a lot of street atmosphere and energy will be disappointed.
negative:
Local station not covered by JR pass
Several guests point out that the station close by the hotel is privately owned, and is not part of any public transport pass system. This meant that they had to pay extra to use it, over and above the cost of any pass they had.
