Many guests have reported that the rooms in Timrick Lodge are too small and cramped. The size of the room and the bed being almost of the same size, they found it difficult to get into bed. The bedding was lumpy, stained and ripped. The linen was dirty. They did not like the decor of the room. They found the towels supplied by the hosts to be dirty, almost brown. Some guests reported cobwebs in their room. The toilets were dirty, smelly and leaking, with cracked seats. They found mould on the shower as well as on the tiles. The wardrobes and drawers were also found to be broken and in dire need of repair.

Most of the guests went without breakfast as it is served very early, between 8:00 am and 8:30 am. No flexible timings. Very often the breakfast served would be cold, and hence insipid. The dining room is outdated and also smelly. Guests also found that the hosts were not accommodative and always wore an annoyed expression on their faces.

Guests were unable to access Wi-Fi either in the rooms or in the public areas. They also found that parking was unsafe, as the guesthouse had limited parking permits.
