About The Waring House
The 3-star Waring House is a charming country inn located in the heart of Prince Edward County, Eastern Ontario's food and wine hotspot. The hotel's centre is a 19th century stone farmhouse with four guest rooms and two restaurants: Amelia's Garden seasonal cuisine and The Barley Room Pub. The Inn has a range of rooms available. Rooms in our Main House and the House Next Door are true to the 19th century when they were built. The newer lodges have spacious rooms with more modern amenities. The lodges boast many green features like geothermal heat, water efficient toilets and solar powered hot water. The Inn, with its central location in Prince Edward County, is the perfect base of operations to explore the culinary and artistic delights of Prince Edward County. Follow the arts trail to studios of local artists and artisans or take the taste trail to discover the area's many wineries, brewery and great restaurants. The Waring House is also home to the Cookery School. Hands on recreational cooking classes, typically run two days a week, where guests can learn the secrets of cooking like a professional chef.
