Guesthouse The Seaside Oceanfront Inn (Seaside, USA)

Many said that they did not have to use their cars for the duration of their stay as everything they wanted to see was just minutes away from the inn. Guests appreciated having the beach literally on their doorstep whilst those who wanted to sample the local bars, restaurants and cafes found it convenient being in close proximity to the popular Main Street.

Guests were able to enjoy picturesque views of the mountains or the ocean depending on which side of the hotel their rooms were located. Many were pleased to report that they had all the necessary mod-cons in their en-suites such as Keurig coffee makers and Blu-Ray DVD players which made their stay even more comfortable and enjoyable.

Guests who dined at the on-site restaurant complimented the quality of the food stating that the dishes were well-prepared using fresh local ingredients. The restaurant has a patio and during finer weather many enjoyed having their meals outdoors whilst taking in the scenic views.

Guests were disappointed to find that there were only a few parking spaces available in front of the hotel which meant that many had to leave their cars a couple of streets away. Quite a few objected to having to carry their cases from their cars to the hotel building.

Several maintenance-related problems were reported by the guests ranging from faulty jet tubs through to broken lights and mouldy grouting. Guests also mentioned that some of the electrical equipment in their rooms was faulty and also objected to slow draining sinks.

Guests mentioned that they did not have anywhere to place their belongings apart from a clothes rack and a few clothes hooks.
