About The Orange Tree Thornham
The Orange Tree is an acclaimed dining pub and small inn on the north coast of Norfolk.
Their individually furnished guest rooms are either located in their courtyard or in the restored historic Old Bakery Annexe. All of the rooms feature modern furnishings and amenities.
The Orange Tree prides itself on an "unstuffy" atmosphere, and makes a point to cater to children, with a playground in the back, and dogs, who are allowed in the bar area and even have their own treat "menu" to sample from. Guests can enjoy use of their garden and gazebo.
In the dining pub guests will be treated to gourmet, contemporary cuisine made from the highest quality local produce. They empathize innovative dishes made from fresh, local seafood.
In addition to the many activities on Thornham Beach, The Orange Tree is located near other points of interest like Seahenge, Sealife Centre, and Norfolk Lavender.

The restaurant is superb
Previous guests were hard pressed to find any sort of fault with the restaurant or bar. The food is fresh, innovative, and expertly prepared, and it is served alongside their impressive wine list. They were equally impressed with the breakfast and the homemade biscuits.
positive:
Bring your furry friend
The Orange Tree goes above and beyond offering dog friendly rooms. They provide water bowls and dog beds. Dogs are welcomed in the bar, where they have a special "Scooby Snack" menu with treats like pig ears in gravy. Guests were thrilled to find that their dogs were treated by the staff as welcome guests and not as inconveniences.

Negative Reviews
negative:
The rooms are a bit small
Though most guests found the accommodations comfortable, several noted that some of the rooms are a tad bit cramped. They would have preferred more room to store their belongings.
negative:
Low water pressure
A few guests experienced issues with low after pressure in the show during their stay. It wasn't bad enough generally to prevent them from showering, but it did make their shower a bit unpleasant.
negative:
It will cost you
Some guests felt that while their stay was pleasant, the food and accommodations did not quite live up to the accompanying price tag.
