About The King's Head

The King’s Head is a prior coaching Inn belonging to the 19th century. Set in the beautiful countryside of Hampshire, it is a mix of a country house and country pub. The bedrooms at The King’s Head are elegant and done up in warm colours. The carpets running in the room are soft and the beds wonderfully comfortable. The rooms have private bathrooms that have a bath and shower. Fine towels and free toiletries are provided. The former coaching inn boasts of traditional furnishings and armchairs in front of a fire place. Parking and Wi-Fi are free. It owns a skittles alley which is available to guests on hire. The dining room is Georgian and the food served is freshly prepared from locally available produce. The bar is equipped with top ales. The inn is at a drivable distance to Southampton, the ferries of the Isle of Wight and the South Winchester Golf Club.
