( Percy French’s well known ballad), the unique appeal of these surroundings is matched only by the warmth of welcome and hospitality displayed by the owners.

Ordered the previous evening, breakfast choices are first class. They use fresh local produce and free range eggs where possible and the result speaks for itself.

Dreamy accommodation.
The rooms are spacious, warm and welcoming and once you sink into those beds, it’s only the prospect of breakfast that will prompt you to re-emerge.

The further down you go on the floors, the better the room quality becomes. So ‘rooms at the top’ tend to be bottom of the league, with cobbled together furniture selections, elderly mattresses and hot water that has to undertake a long journey before it
