This hotel is ideally located in the Historic District, and you'll find that you are very close to almost all of the major tourist attractions. There are carriage tours nearby and the waterfront and many shops, and restaurants are all just a few steps awa

Given that this is an old place with lots of nooks and crannies, it would be understandable if the place got a bit dusty. But guests have noted that the place is kept super clean and that the rooms are in excellent condition.

The friendly staff at this hotel are on top of their game and really know how to treat their guests. You will feel welcome from the moment you arrive, and the staff are more than willing to help out newcomers to the area.

This is a lovely place to stay, but some guests feel that for such an old place, it is very expensive. They feel that there are better options available for less money in the area. The place is slightly dated and in need of some remodeling work.

If you have any minor problems during the night, then they will have to wait until morning as the staff head for home at an early enough hour. This is a little inconvenient for those that want to arrange wake up calls.

Some guests have found that their rooms weren't as good as others even though they paid the same money. This is an old place with many different sized rooms so be wary of your room allocation and don't accept it until you have seen it.
