Guests repeatedly mentioned how hotel employees went above and beyond when providing assistance. They said if there was any way possible for staff members to help, they would immediately do so with a very professional and understanding attitude.

Guests gave rave reviews about the lovely rooms here. When staying in one, you just might feel like royalty. Guests particularly liked the fragrant bath salts and creams in the bathrooms.

Although many properties say they welcome pets, this hotel really means that. Guests were pleasantly surprised when they brought their dogs and the canines were given bowls and towels to help them feel at home. Some guests said they felt like their dogs enjoyed their time there as much as any human.

Some guests reported having to park in the public square upon arrival, which was a bit of a hassle in some cases because of the distance from the hotel. However, other guests decided to purchase parking passes with their rooms, which allowed them to have spaces that were closer to the property.

Guests who were light sleepers were sometimes bothered by the sounds of church bells in the area that they said rang as frequently as every 15 minutes. However, this was usually just a minor quibble, especially since the hotel provides earplugs.

Occasionally, guests commented that the food was overpriced. Although it was almost invariably tasty, guests felt for the prices they paid, the portions should have been larger.
